Give and Take - a collaboration
To kick start 2012 Belinda will be showing at Beaver Galleries in Canberra from the 22nd March - 10th April. This latest show is a collaboration with ceramicist Neville French. After the success of their last project, this latest venture extends a common interest in the fragility of nature and both paintings and ceramics are intertwined conceptually and physically. Therefore the show will be a series of little groupings. The other new exciting devlopment is a number the new vessels incorporate Belinda's unconventional lino printmaking techniques into a 3d form. Belinda has been shortlisted for the prestigious 37th Alice Prize.Representation Changes in Melbourne
Exciting changes are afoot in Melbourne. Belinda is very happy to annonce she will be joining Scott Livesey Gallery from April. A group show from the 11th April will get things started and a solo exhibition is planned for 2013. Scott will now hold Belinda's paintings and unique works. Scott has over 15 years experience as a gallery dealer and represents some of Australia's most successful artists so please drop by and meet the wonderful Sophie and Scott in Armadale.for more info go to:
Also Port Jackson Press will now stock Belinda's print works. So for all those print lovers new works and old will now be available in the great care of the PJP staff.
Groundwork - recent prints
From the 29th March Belinda will be showing recent print works at the Port Jackson Press gallery in Melbourne, alongside collaborative artists Kir Larwill, Diana Burns and Robyn Gibson.For more info go to:
New Prints at COFA
Not only will lots of Easter eggs be consumed over Easter but a new series of prints will also be undertaken with master printer Michael Kempson at Cicada Press in Sydney.
